Concert Information

The Schubert Male Chorus celebrates over 127 Consecutive Years of singing with many performances during 2010.

Rehearsals are held on Mondays at the GR Community College Music Center, located at the corner of Ransom SE and Lyon SE. Rehearsals begin at 7 pm. Please call 616-752-7470 for further information.

The first rehearsal for the 2010-2011 Season will be on Monday, September 13 at 7:00 pm in the GRCC Music Center, Room 304. Anyone wishing to join the chorus should plan to attend this first rehearsal. Voice checks by our director, Don Huls, will be made that evening as well as other Mondays in September.

The chorus will hold a Singing Retreat for all members on Saturday, September 18 at the Peace Reformed Church in Caledonia. This retreat, designed to give chorus members a head start on music for the fall and Christmas programs, will begin at 9:00 am and end around 3:00 pm.

Our Annual Christmas Concert will be on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the East Grand Rapids HS Performing Arts Center.

The Spring concert will be on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the East Grand Rapids Performing Arts Center.

Both concerts will begin at 7:30 pm.

Every year the Schuberts perform at many civic and corporate functions, Immigration and Naturalization Ceremonies, Women's City Club, Gilda's Club, Retirement and Nursing communities and Churches.
